Mary's Son Karl, my Grandfather

Pictured above are Mary's three Children. On the left is Karl Friedrich, born 10.09.1876 in Haguenau, Elsass, my grandfather. The picture is taken in the early 1880s. Karl is with his sister Hilde and his younger brother Robert. I was quite surprised to find a childhood picture of my grandfather, having assumed the pictures below were the first ones available.


Here is Karl again, this time as a young father. We also see one of the first pictures of my father Kurt (born19.02.1911) , his sisters Hilde and Gerda, and of my grandmother Frieda, holding Gerda on her lap. At the time of writing Gerda is 93 Years old and living in Madrid, Spain.
